Investment begins at $1500 and covers 60 minutes for family sessions or 120 minutes for events. Extended coverage (multi-hour events) is quoted separately based on duration and scope. This is the process:
1. Request information.

I will reply within 24 hours, and we will arrange a short phone call to say hi and discuss your inquiry in detail.
2. Review and book.
Following our phone conversation, you will be provided with a budget proposal and service description, allowing you to choose the options that best suit your requirements and budget. You will have 48 hours to make your decision, and you are required to respond with either a pass or confirmation to move forward. To confirm your session booking, we will need a signed agreement and a retainer payment.
3. Capture & Receive.
I will provide comprehensive guidance to ensure you are well-prepared for our session, allowing you to feel at ease and focus on capturing meaningful moments. During the session, I encourage you to engage naturally. Following our time together, I will meticulously refine and curate a collection of high-quality images. Your final gallery will be delivered within three weeks, providing you with a selection of timeless photographs.

I specialize in working with families who value authenticity and genuine connection. When I arrive, I do so without preconceived expectations, focusing my time on documenting the organic interactions and emotions that make your family special. My goal is to create a space where you can fully immerse yourself in the experience—free from pressures or rigid expectations—so that the resulting images reflect timeless memories that you will cherish for years to come.
Why do we need to speak over the phone?
Choosing a photographer to document your family’s most meaningful moments is an important decision. I believe that building a connection is essential, and I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you.
To ensure a seamless experience, we’ll have a brief phone call lasting 5 to 10 minutes, during which you are welcome to ask any questions and discuss your vision for the session.
What do we receive?
You will receive access to an online gallery featuring high-resolution JPG images, meticulously edited to enhance their artistic quality. Additionally, you will have printing rights, granting you the flexibility to produce your own prints. However, while you have the right to print and share your images, Paula Brearley retains full copyright ownership of the photographs.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive a secure online gallery link containing all your photos, delivered within three weeks. For Fine Art Albums and Prints, please allow three to four months for production and delivery.
Where are you based and do you travel?
While I am based in New York City, I have a passion for traveling to capture special moments. Whether you're planning a session or an event, regardless of the distance from my home base, I'm eager to connect and make it happen.
When should I Book?
My schedule often fills up well in advance, but if you're in need of a photographer, please don't hesitate to send me an email! I typically recommend scheduling at least two weeks in advance as a minimum, although there's still a possibility I may be able to accommodate last-minute requests.
Do you edit the images?
Every photo undergoes a creative editing process before being delivered to ensure a visually pleasing and captivating final result.
Do you use Photoshop?
As a mindful artist, I am dedicated to presenting authentic images of real individuals and avoid excessive retouching that reinforces unrealistic beauty ideals.
