I aim to capture images that hold immense significance to you, ones that you'll cherish for a lifetime.


All photography collections include session time with me, consultation, digital images in high-resolution with printing rights, a styling guide, and an online gallery to share with family and friends. Fine Art Albums and prints are available separately as an a la carte option.


Families usually spend $1,200 as a minimum on their session package, depending on the event size, amount of service hours, type of session, and location. Additional travel or studio fees may apply. Please get in touch with us to learn more about our different packages and options.

This is our process:

I. Request information and arrange a phone call.

I will reply within 24 hours, and we will arrange a short phone call to greet each other and delve into your inquiry thoroughly.

II. Review the budget proposal and book your session.

Following our phone conversation, you will be provided with a budget proposal and service description, allowing you to choose the options that best suit your requirements and budget. To confirm your session booking, we will need a signed agreement and a retainer payment.

III. Take Photos & Receive memories.

I will assist you in getting ready for our session, allowing you to simply unwind and relish the moments with your dear ones. During our session, I encourage you to fully engage and have a wonderful time. Following the session, I will commence the editing process, curating a stunning gallery of timeless images for your everlasting enjoyment.

How can I tell if we are a good match?

My ideal collaborations are with families who value authenticity. Families who prioritize being fully present and are enthusiastic about having their session documented as it naturally unfolds. When I arrive at your session, I do so without preconceived notions, dedicating most of my time to capturing the genuine moments of connection between you and your loved ones. My utmost desire for every family is that they grant themselves the freedom to wholeheartedly embrace the day, free from concerns or lofty expectations. It's this mindset that I aim to encapsulate, as I believe these are the moments that will endure eternally.

Why do we need to speak over the phone?

Selecting a photographer to capture the most cherished individuals in your life, your children and family, is a significant decision. It's important to me that we have an opportunity to connect. I look forward to meeting you, and I believe it's equally important for us to get to know each other.

Our phone call will be concise, typically lasting no more than 5-10 minutes. During this time, you are encouraged to ask any questions you may have.

What do we receive?

You will be provided with an online gallery containing high-resolution JPG images that have been meticulously edited for a creative touch. Additionally, you will have printing rights, allowing you the freedom to produce your own prints. It's important to note that while you have printing rights, Paula Ortiz Photography retains the copyright ownership.

When will we get our photos?

You will be provided with an online gallery link containing all your photos, and this will be delivered to you within a maximum of 3 weeks. For Fine Art Albums and Prints, please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery.

Where are you based and do you travel?

While I am based in New York City, I have a passion for traveling to capture special moments. Whether you're planning a session or an event, regardless of the distance from my home base, I'm eager to connect and make it happen.

When should I Book?

My schedule often fills up well in advance, but if you're in need of a photographer, please don't hesitate to send me an email! I typically recommend scheduling at least two weeks in advance as a minimum, although there's still a possibility I may be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

Do you edit the images?

Every photo undergoes a creative editing process before being delivered to ensure a visually pleasing and captivating final result.

Do you use Photoshop?

As a mindful artist, I am dedicated to presenting authentic images of real individuals and avoid excessive retouching that reinforces unrealistic beauty ideals.
