Family Session in the Upper West Side


The Upper West Side is quite frankly my favorite place in Manhattan for family sessions. Grand apartment buildings and historic brownstones lead to Central Park for daily walks where families, visitors, and New Yorkers from all boroughs merge to enjoy one of the few outdoor spaces in the city.


The Park offers natural beauty and tons of historic landmarks, filled with gorgeous edifications, fountains, and bridges. Although sometimes crowded, Central Park is quite large and allows for stress-free family sessions that are beautiful and fun for the kids.


For this extended family session, we started with some portraits at home, and then we all went for a walk around the park. They wanted elegant, minimal, and modern portraits for their Holiday card, which is totally my style. Our session was organic, real, and utterly beautiful. I feel the photos really represent the energy and personality of this family whom I loved to meet and work with.
